English: The house located at 2900 O Street NW in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C., was built in 1859 and is historically known as the Alfred and Hannah Cole Pope Residence. Alfred Pope was a former slave and prominent African-American businessman who owned several properties in the area. The house was later occupied by presidential advisor Martin Anderson. The building is a contributing property to the Georgetown Historic District.
