English: Officially N 45th Street and NE 45th Street, this road extends as a major arterial running east from Stone Way N in Seattle to the Laurelhurst neighborhood. It is the main east-west commercial street of the Wallingord neighborhood and (less prominently, because there are so many commerical north-south avenues) the University District, then continues down a viaduct, separates University Village shopping mall on its north from the University of Washington East Campus on its south, and continues as a major commercial street until Sand Point Way NE curves off to the north; even east of that, it is a major arterial (though mostly residential).
