The Australian Natives Association (ANA) was an Australia Friendly Society providing health, funeral and unemployment benefits to members. It was formed in 1871 in Melbourne and quickly had formed with branches Victoria initially and across Australia. Its first Chief President of the Board was elected in 1877 and Chief Presidents continued to be elected until 1989 when merged with the Manchester Unity friendly society to form Australian Unity.
