The northern of the two surviving Roman bridges over the Penkalas river at Aizanoi (bridge 4 in the plans of the site by the Deutsches Archäologisches Institut), located east of the Temple of Zeus on Cumhuriyet Caddesi, the principal road from Orencik to Çavdarhisar. Probably dedicated in A.D. 157, it has remained in use ever since, and was equipped with a new roadbed and stone parapets in 1990.
