English: Americana refers to artifacts, or a collection of artifacts, related to the history, geography, folklore and cultural heritage of the United States. Many kinds of material fall within the definition of Americana: paintings, prints and drawings; license plates or entire vehicles, household objects, tools and weapons; flags, plaques and statues, and so on.

Español: Americana es una palabra de la lengua inglesa (no debe confundirse con la palabra american), utilizada especialmente Estados Unidos para referirse a ciertos fetiches de la cultura de Estados Unidos en sus aspectos más populares e identificativos del denominado american way of life ("modo de vida estadounidense") tanto del deporte (béisbol), como de la gastronomía (la tarta de manzana, los Diner, la hamburguesa), los personajes de cómic (Superman), ciertas composiciones musicales (las marchas de John Philip Sousa, la Rhapsody in Blue de George Gershwin), ciertas imágenes calificadas de folk art (Norman Rockwell), etc.
