Deutsch: Das Amtsgericht Kiel ist ein deutsches Gericht der ordentlichen Gerichtsbarkeit. Das Gerichtsgebäude wurde auf das Gelände der ehemaligen Maschinen- und Motorenfabrik Bohn & Kähler von den Architekten Herbert Weidling, Erhart Kettner und Dr. Werner errichtet und die Gießereihalle (1915-1916} wiederverwendet. Vorgängerbau war das Gerichtsgebäude Ringstraße 19–31, Ecke Königsweg, ab 1924 im Gerichtsgebäude am Schützenwall zusammen mit dem Landgericht Kiel. In dem Gebäude des Amtsgerichts Kiel sind außerdem das Arbeitsgericht Kiel und das Landesarbeitsgericht Schleswig-Holstein untergebracht, bis 2009 ebenfalls das Sozialgericht.
English: The Amtsgericht Kiel (= Kiel Local Court) is a German court of ordinary jurisdiction. The courthouse was built on the site of the former Bohn & Kähler Machine and Engine Factory by the architecte Herbert Weidling, Erhart Kettner und Dr. Werner. The foundry hall of Bohn & Kähler (built in 1915 and 1916) was reused. The predecessor building was the court building Ringstrasse 19-31, corner of Königsweg, from 1924 in the court building on Schützenwall together with the Kiel District Court. The Kiel Local Court building also houses the Kiel Labour Court and the Schleswig-Holstein State Labour Court, and until 2009 also the Social Court.
