English: The Ancient Greek theatre (built c. 200 BCE) — in Ohrid, North Macedonia.
  • It is the only Hellenistic theater in all North Macedonia. During the Hellenistic period comedies, tragedies and dramas were performed. The Romans added gladiator and animal fights.
  • In the three upper rows of seats there are inscriptions of names of persons that probably served as seat reservations during performances. In total, twelve rows of seats in the cavea remain.
