  • English: The so-called Capitoline Antinous was found in Villa Adriana, therefore it was interpreted as a portrait of Hadrian's lover, Antinous. In 17th century it was considered as one of the most beautiful greek statues in the whole world. It is now considered a Roman Imperial-age copy of a Greek statue (4th century BC) representing Hermes.
