English: Atwood Apartments, 104 Pine Street, northeast corner of First and Pine, just across from Pike Place Market, Seattle, Washington. Originally (1910) the Hotel Afton. Designed by Harlan Thomas in collaboration with Russell & Rice for owners Josephine S. Atwood & Oscar J. Smith (owner of the Smith Drug Co.), construction began in the summer of 1909 for a 4-story hotel building; the top 2 floors would be added the following year.
