Australian Kerosene Oil Company or 'A.K.O' (originally Australian Kerosene Oil and Mineral Company Limited) mined and processed oil shale to produce kerosene, paraffin wax and candles, lubricating oil and greases, and other petroleum-based products, in New South Wales Australia.
