Baijnath is a historic town on the banks of river Binwa in Himachal Pradesh. The scenic town is midst the foothills of the Dhauladhar range and is referred to as Kiragrama in pre-12th century Hindu Sanskrit texts. It was on the trading and pilgrim route to Kashmir. The town is famous for two 13th-century temples – Baijnath and Siddhnath, both dedicated to Shiva.

This town should not be confused with other historic Himalayan towns named Baijnath, such as those in Uttarakhand and in Nepal.
