Beinn Bheigeir, also called Beinn Bheigier and Ben Vigory, is the hill of greatest elevation on Islay, at 491 metres (1,611 ft). It is located on eastern coast of central Islay, to the south of McArthur's Head. Surrounding it are the next highest elevations on Islay, Glas Bheinn, Beinn Bhàn, and Beinn Uraraidh. Its greatest glen, Gleann Leòra, carries the Claggain River to Claggain Bay in a southeastern course.
