English: 1+Bishops Bridge Signal Box is located at Staverton on the South Devon Railway (a heritage line). It is situated to the west of the railway station and controls a loop and sidings. The signal box was originally built by the Great Western Railway at Athelney West in 1908. This was closed in 1986 after which the upper portion (the original box being entirely wood) was transferred to Staverton and opened here on anew brick lower storey on 16 September 1999.
