Deutsch: Brendan John Nelson (* 19. August 1958, in Melbourne) ist ein australischer Politiker der konservativen Liberal Party of Australia. Er war vom 23. November 2001 bis 26. Januar 2006 Minister für Erziehung, Wissenschaft und Ausbildung und bis Ende 2007 der Verteidigungsminister von Australien.
English: Brendan John Nelson (born 19 August 1958) is a former Australian politician and former federal Opposition leader. In September 2009, the Labor Prime Minister Kevin Rudd announced Nelson as the next Ambassador to the European Union, Belgium and Luxembourg as well as Australia's Special Representative at the World Health Organisation and NATO.
