The term British Caribbean refers to the overseas territories of the United Kingdom that are located in the Caribbean and their inhabitants. It refers to Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Montserrat, and the Turks and Caicos Islands. It is frequently extended to Bermuda bordering the region, despite the Bermuda is a bit far from the Caribbean Sea. It is not a formal subdivision of the Kingdom, but only a geographic region.
