English: Cape Matapan (Κάβο Ματαπάς, also named as Cape Tainaron, Ακρωτήριον Ταίναρον, or Cape Tenaro) is situated at the end of the Mani Peninsula, Greece. Cape Matapan is the southernmost point of mainland Greece, and the second southernmost point in mainland Europe.
Français : Le cap Ténare (Ακρωτήριο Ταίναρο, aussi connu sous le nom de cap Matapan) est un cap du Péloponnèse, situé à l’extrême sud de la péninsule du Magne, en Laconie. C’est le point le plus méridional de la Grèce continentale.
