English: Chala was an iron-hulled barque, built by Wm Pickersgill & Sons of Sunderland. Official number 91224, 213.0ft x 34.6ft x 20.1ft. First owner S Wakeham & Son of Liverpool. Later owned by FW Reynolds (Wakenham and Sons, managers). Sold in about 1908 to Norwegian owners without change of name. Abandoned in 1914.
