English: The Issy-les-Moulineaux airfield was established in 1905 on part of the ground occupied by the field used for maneuvers, which had been given to the French soldiers in compensation for their transfer from the Champ-de-Mars (in view of the Organization of the Universal Exhibition of 1889). The first flight authorization was issued for an experiment conducted on March 26, 1905. Afterwards, many world-renowned aviators (Blériot, Farman ...) were welcomed there. Gradually encircled and shrunk by neighboring buildings and therefore no longer adequate tracks for the reception of modern aircraft, the aerodrome turned after the Second World War to use only by helicopters, then in full development. In 1953 the last flight of a fixed wing aircraft took place. In 1956, the city of Paris became the owner of the land. Passed under the authority of Aéroports de Paris, concessionaire, the former airfield became the Heliport of Paris (located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris).
