- 1890-04-24 delivered as California, North Western Shipping Co, Liverpool
- 1896 new owner: J. A. Ritson & J. Livesey, Liverpool
- 1897-12-04 renamed Alster, Rob. M. Sloman & Co., Hamburg (Unterscheidungssignal/callsign: RKTG)
- 1898-02-04 new owner: Aktien-Gesellschaft "Alster", Hamburg
- 1912-03-12 new owner: E.C. Schramm, Hamburg
- 1913 renamed Christel Vinnen, F. A. Vinnen & Co., Bremer Stahlhof AG, Bremen
- 1914-08-xx interned in Valparaíso, Chile, damaged by own crew to prevent her being used by the allies
- 1919 allocated to Italy as war reparations, used as hulk in Valparaíso
- 1924 new owner: Luigi Belardi
- 1926 new owner: M. Aste, Genoa, refitted to sailing ship
- 1927-04-15 wrecked on Old Providence Island (Caleta Coloso–Norfolk)
