English: The crypt is the oldest part of the church of the Champdieu's priory., Since, 1143 there were exibited relics of Saint Domnin, a child martyred in the 3rd century. Built on the model of Cluny's architecture, a central nave flanked by two chapels, served by a narrow corridor that pilgrims traveled from north to south of the transept (from Vezelay to Compostela). In order to a maximum of pilgrims may enter in the shrine, the central apse was built on the model of a "market hall", eighteen slender columns supporting a wide vault, through capitals decorated with interlacing plants, typical of the XI century.
Español: La cripta es la parte más antigua de la iglesia del priorato Champdieu, ya que, desde 1143 se exhibieron aquí reliquias de San Domnin, niño martirisado en el siglo 3. Construida sobre el modelo de Cluny, una nave central flanqueada por dos capillas servidas por un pasillo estrecho en cua los peregrinos viajaban de norte a sur del crucero (de Vézelay a Compostela). Para que un máximo de peregrinos pussieron entrar en el santuario, el ábside central fue construido sobre el modelo de mercado cubierto, en cual diez y ocho esbeltas columnas sostienen un amplia bóveda, a medio de capitales decorados con entrelazados de plantas, típicos del siglo XI.
Français : La crypte est la partie la plus ancienne de l'église du prieuré de Champdieu., puisque, à partir de 1143 y étaient exposées les reliques de Saint Domnin, enfant martyrisé au 3° s. Construite sur le modèle clunisien, d'une nef centrale encadrée de deux absidioles, desservies par un étroit couloir que les pèlerin parcouraient du nord au sud du transept (de Vezelay vers Compostelle). Afin qu'un maximum de pèlerins puissent accéder au reliquaire, l'abside centrale était construite sur le modèle d'une «halle», dix huit fines colonnes, supportant une large voûte, par l'intermédiaire de chapiteaux ornés d'entrelacs de végétaux typiques du XI° siècle.
