- ~~South Slavic Settlement Memorial Stone (other names South Slavic memorial stone, Memorial stone of the settlement of Rascian) by Mihály Mosonyi wood and stone carver, colonel, local historian. Installed in 2005 - Story: From 1629 onwards, South Slavic settlers arrived in Ercsi, who were the second founders of the almost completely deserted village. About the memorial: made in for the 375th anniversary, apple reliefs. Inscription „Erčhin" =Serb? name of Ercsi. At the end of the artwork are 2 dates, '1629' and '1630' big numbers. The inscription on the reverse side is carved in stone: "From 1389 South Slavs settled in Hungary." In 1629-30, under the pastoral care of Bosnian Franciscans, under the leadership of Lukács Szigeti and Vajda Tamás (South Slavic names translated into Hungarian), Catholic racians (Croats, Bosnians, Dalmatians) settled in Hungary. In 1690 a large number of South Slavs fleeing from the south, led by Franciscans, arrived again and settled in Ercsi. according to the census of the 1700s, Ercsi had only a racians /South Slav/ population - Dózsa György Road (Route 6204), Ercsi, Fejér County, Hungary.
