Notes A photograph of an earler version of this figure was printed in contemporary art magazines, together with an earlier version of Muse of Poetry entitled Music or Song. Both of these versions feature more drapery, and headdresses in the shapes of birds. They were apparently sent to India, and their current whereabouts are unknown.
