Dolní Kralovice is a municipality in Benešov District, Central Bohemia. It was formerly a market town in the valley of Želivka river. The town was demolished in 1974 through constructing of Švihov water reservoir, which supplies Prague by drinking water. Its name and the municipal identity was moved to a new settlement, built around 1970 ca 4 km southward, next to Vraždovy Lhotice village. Its former status as a market town (městys) was not restored. There are also other villages attached to the municipality as its parts: Libčice, Martinice u Dolních Kralovic, Střítež, Vraždovy Lhotice and Zahrádčice, formerly (in 1980s) also Snět, Blažejovice, Šetějovice and Tomice.
