English: The Dorothy I. Height Building, historically known as the Central National Bank or Apex Building, is the national headquarters of the National Council of Negro Women. It is located at 633 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, in the Penn Quarter neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The initial structure was built in the mid-1860s, as a Renaissance Revival hotel, the Seaton House, which was later renamed the Saint Marc Hotel. In 1887, the Central National Bank retained the architect Alfred B. Mullett to convert the hotel to office use. The Late Victorian-style Dorothy I. Height Building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In addition, the building is designated as a contributing property to the Pennsylvania Avenue National Historic Site and the Downtown Historic District.
