Deutsch: Drahdiwaberl ist eine österreichische Punkrockgruppe, die 1969 in Wien von Stefan Weber gegründet wurde. Der Name ist der wienerische Ausdruck für Drehkreisel, der aber auch unentschlossene Menschen bezeichnet. Ursprünglich aus der Tradition der 68er-Bewegung kommend, entwickelte Drahdiwaberl sich bald zu einer bewusst grellen und obszönen Band, die mit ihren aktionistischen Geschmacklosigkeiten Kult-Status errang.
English: Drahdiwaberl is an Austrian punk rock group, formed in 1969 in Vienna by Stefan Weber. The name comes from the Viennese slang word for spinning top, which also applies to undecided people. Originally from the "'68 movement", they soon developed into a sharply conscious band, known for their obscenity, and achieved a cult status with their often tasteless protesting.
