English: The FIFé Easy Mind System (EMS) is a system used by the Fédération internationale féline to identify cats by codes. EMS Code y 12 means golden coats with a shell or tipping, also called chinchilla in Persian cats. Just the tip of each hair is heavily pigmented (approx. 1/8 of the hair length), while the unpigmented section of the hair is white to golden (yellow to reddish).
