English: The Edgar Laing Stores were a group of warehouses erected by James Bogardus with a shared ironfront façade. Construction work began in 1849; the first warehouse opened in 1850. They stood at the corner of Washington and Murray Streets in Lower Manhattan (New York City, New York) until 1971. The façades were preserved; initially they were stored at the Washington Street campus of City University, and later re-erected at the South Street Seaport Museum).
