Deutsch: Der Kieler Bauunternehmer Emil Ebeling war zunächst als Bautechniker im Baugeschäft Carl Amelow tätig bei der Planung und Realisierung von repräsentativen Mietshäusern (z.B. Lornsenstraße 30-34 und Geibelplatz/Geibelallee, beide um 1900). Als selbständiger Unternehmer errichtete er um 1906 ebenfalls anspruchsvolle und reich ornamentierte Mietwohnungshäuser (u. a. Holtenauer Nr. 194 und Goethestraße Nr. 6).
English: The Kiel building contractor Emil Ebeling initially worked as a construction technician in the Carl Amelow construction business, planning and implementing representative apartment buildings (e.g. Lornsenstraße 30-34 and Geibelplatz/Geibelallee, both around 1900). As an independent entrepreneur, he also built sophisticated and richly ornamented rental apartment buildings around 1906 (including Holtenauer No. 194 and Goethestrasse No. 6).
