Deutsch: Das Erholungshaus mit Aussichtsturm, Festsaal, Kegelbahn und Klubräumen für die Werftarbeiter der Kaiserlichen Werft im Werftpark (später der Volkspark) in Kiel-Ellerbek wurde 1898 on dem Bauunternehmer J. C. Qualen errichtet. 1925 wrd es vereinfacht als Jugendheim der Stadt Kiel umgebaut.
English: The Recreation House with a viewing tower, ballroom, bowling alley and club rooms for the shipyard workers of the Imperial Shipyard in the Werftpark (later the Volkspark) in Kiel-Ellerbek was built in 1898 by the building contractor J. C. Qualen. In 1925 it was converted into a simplified building as a youth home of the City of Kiel.
