The cinerary urn depicts the deceased reclining at the banquet. The death goddess Vanth is seated next to him. The inserted heads are lost. At the left margin stands a boy as a cup bearer. At the foot end lies a folded book of the dead, the liber linteus. A priest’s hat lies across the opening. Chiusi (Italy), 4th century BC.
