English: First National Pictures is a defunct American motion picture distributor and studio founded in 1917. It came under the control of Warner Bros. in 1928, and was completely absorbed November 4, 1929. Thereafter First National Pictures was a trade name under which a segment of Warner Bros. product was distributed until 1936, when First National Pictures, Inc., was dissolved.
