Category:Florentine enamels on copper (Cini collection)

This set of enamels on copper from the Cini Collection is the most important, after that of the Louvre Museum, by the number and quality of its pieces. These are decorated with motifs stamped with gold leaf. First attributed to the Venetian School, this technique has recently been recognized as coming from Florentine workshops (International colloquium for studies on so-called Venetian enamelled copperware from the Italian Renaissance from October 16 to 18, 2014 at the Giorgio Cini Foundation).
