English: Obituary from the N.Y. Times May 3, 1916: Hollis, N.H. May 2 - Franklin Worcester, Republican Candidate for Governor in 1912, died at his home here today. He had been prominent as a lumber dealer and real estate operator and for a time practiced law at Minneapolis, Minn. He was 61 years old. Mr. Worcester was graduated from Dartmouth College in 1870, later studying law at Harvard Law School being admitted to the bar in 1872. He was formerly a member of the New Hampshire Senate and House of Representatives and was a director of the Indian Head National Bank of Nashua, N.H. At the time of his death, he was president of the New England Cooperage Association.
