Rather than a platform, Ultium is a modular architecture that includes the Ultium battery technology and Ultium Drive units, combining the traction motor(s) and power electronics. These technologies are implemented in the BEV3 and BT1 platforms for unibody and body-on-frame vehicles, respectively.
