The Porta dei Fiori (XIIIth C.) on the north side of the Basilica of San Marco, is dominated by two arches.
The lower arch, of Arab-Moorish style, contains the relief of the Nativity.
The upper arches, carved with angels and prophets and a kind of procession of half-length figures including Christ, Mary, saints and saints depicted individually or in groups of three and flanked by angels and crosses.
On the top continues the Gothic crowning with floral decorations, figures of virtue and church fathers.
