Grave area for members of Hamburg Sieveking family, many of them personalities of public life, located on cemetery Ohlsdorf in Hamburg district Hamburg-Ohlsdorf, map S 25 / S26 (Waldstraße/Kapellenstraße). Many of the gave stones are nearly illegible due to moss and lichens, however some good photos (by scrolling) (genealogy.net).
Integrated in this area: a relict of the original gravestone for scientist “Joh. Alb. Hinr. Reimarus“ of 1814 (some of his decendants were members of the Sieveking family).
It should be mentioned that on the same cemetery there is a separate important Sieveking grave for Hamburg lawyer Ernst Friedrich Sieveking and his wife (File:Grab Ernst Friedrich Sieveking.jpg), located map Z 13 (near Nordteich).
In Hamburg district Hamburg-Hamm you will find the mausoleum for Hamburg politician and art patron Karl Sieveking and members of his family, e. g. his cousin Amalie Sieveking, German philanthropist and social activist.
