English: Great Lakes Forestry Centre is a research facility in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada with a primary focus on forest research. It houses the Insect Production and Quarantine Laboratories to study invasive species in Canada, and the Great Lakes Forestry Centre Arboretum. The centre was created by consolidating research institutes base in Maple, Richmond Hill, and Sault Ste. Marie into one facility in 1965, and in 1976, a new building was opened to house the research institute.
