  • English: The Helmsley Building at 230 Park Avenue between East 45th and 46th Street in Midtown Manhattan, New York City was built in 1929 as the New York Central Building, and was designed by Warren & Wetmore in the Beaux-Arts style. The building was designated a New York City Landmark in 1987. Vehicular traffic on the Park Avenue viaduct passes through the building through two portals, one for uptown traffic and one for downtown.
