English: This stained glass window of St. Mary of the Rosary in Cong, County Mayo, is located behind the chancel and depicts the Holy Family with Christ the King in its centre rising over the Crucifixion and with side panels showing the Annunciation and the Flight into Egypt. Created by Richard King (artist) while working for Harry Clarke Studios in Dublin in the time from 1932 to 1933. See Nicola Gordon Bowe et al, Gazetteer of Irish Stained Glass, p. 191.) The window is dated from 1933 (see inscription) and was donated by Very Rev. James Canon Hennelly (1843–1939), Chancellor of Tuam, PP. (See Cong and Cross Churches Dedicated by Archbishop, Western People, 27 October 1973, p. 21; about the donor: Death of Very Rev. Chancellor Hennelly, Cong, Sunday Independent, 28 May 1939, p. 9.) The window is to be seen in its original position as east window in the movie The Quiet Man at ca. 11m45s where the interior of the old Catholic church from 1864 was used as a set.
