English: The four classic Greek goddesses, allegories of time cycles (life time, or seasons of year), are Themis (associated to death and birth, or immortality) and her three daughters, the Horae (associated to lifetime, or seasons from spring to autumn): either Eunomia, Dike, and Eirene ; or originately Thallo, Auxo and Carpo. Later the number of Horae increased to ten, then twelve, to become allegories of hours of day.
