- Italiano: I Mauruzzi (o Mauruzi o Mauruzj) da Tolentino, chiamati anche "Tolentini" o semplicemente "da Tolentino", furono una famiglia della nobiltà marchigiana e poi milanese e veneziana, che raggiunse i titoli di conti della Stacciola (frazione di San Costanzo PU), e confeudatari di Bereguardo (Pavia). Originari di Tolentino (dove esiste ancora il loro antico palazzo nell'omonima piazza), si sono "sparsi" in tutte le Marche (Ostra Vetere (prima chiamata Montenovo), Caldarola, Fossombrone), e a Milano (con Giovanni da Tolentino, figlio di Niccolò Mauruzi da Tolentino, famoso condottiero dei fiorentini nominato anche da Alessandro Manzoni nel Carmagnola).Il ramo di Montenovo è l'unico ancora non estinto (2008) anche se l'ultimo discendente (vivente a Roma) è senza prole.
