English: Hu Yeh was a name used to refer to a Tiger god worshipped in the Chinese folk religion and Taoism. In Taiwan there are many temples which worship Hu Yeh, but as a subordinate of other gods: Mazu, Tudigong, Wangyeh, Chenghuang (City God), etc. Usually, it is placed under the temple table while for worship usage.
