Deutsch: Die Fotos von 01 bis 19 sind in der Reihenfolge von der Kirchstaße bis zur Rückseite der Gebäude durchnummeriert.
Hinter einem Haus aus der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts aus gestrichenem Blaustein und Ziegeln mit seitlichem Hofeingang befindet sich eine Anlage verschiedener Wohnblöcke, weitgehend aus Fachwerk. Diese Wohnblöcke sind wahrscheinlich aus dem 17. und 18. Jahrhundert. Die Gebäude gehen ineinander über und verschmelzen zu einem Komplex, welcher sich um zwei Innenhöfe artikuliert.
Die Gebäude wurden 1713 von dem Fabrikanten Peter Sterman errichtet. Sie dienten in der vorindustriellen Zeit als Wohn- und Werkstätten von Scherern. Nach dem Weben war das Scheren der Tuche als Teil der Appretur ein wichtiger Arbeitsgang bei der Feintuchherstellung. (Quelle: ostbelgienkulturerebe.be)

Derrière une maison du milieu du XIXe siècle faite de pierre bleue et de briques peintes avec une entrée latérale sur la cour, se trouve un complexe de plusieurs blocs, en grande partie à colombage. Ces blocs sont probablement des 17ème et 18ème siècles. Les bâtiments s'entrevèchent l'un dans l'autre et fusionnent pour former un complexe articulé autour de deux cours.
Ils ont été construits par le fabricant Peter Sterman. À l'ère préindustrielle, ils ont été utilisés comme locaux d'habitation et ateliers pour des tondeurs de draps. Behind a house from the mid-19th century made of painted bluestone and bricks with side entrance as acces to the courtyard, is a complex of various blocks, largely half-timbered. These blocks are probably from the 17th and 18th centuries. The buildings merge one into an other to form a complex that articulates around two courtyards.
They were built by the manufacturer Peter Sterman. In the pre-industrial era they were used as living quarters and workshops for the cloth shearer.
