Jan Baptist School is a special school (Dutch: zeer moeilijk lerende kinderen) in Maastricht, Netherlands, with a primary school in Porseleinstraat (Pottenberg) and a secondary school in Frans van de Laarplein (Brusselsepoort). The first school for children with special needs was founded as Sint-Servatiusschool (for boys) in 1912 by Brother Jan Baptist F.I.C. in Bogaardenstraat. In 1937 the school relocated to Herbenusstraat. In 1965, Princess Margriet of the Netherlands opened the new school in Pottenberg, which split off from Sint-Servatiusschool.
