Čeština: Jaroslav Skutil (* 24. května 1910 Pardubice – 1. října 1940 Elton u Peterborough, Northamptonshire, Británie) byl voják z povolání, za Protektorátu Čechy a Morava člen vojenské ilegální odbojové organizace Obrana národa (důstojník pro komunikaci a spoje ve štábu krajského velitelství Pardubice). Během zátahu gestapa na členy Obrany národa v únoru 1940 se štábnímu kapitánu Jaroslavu Skutilovi podařilo zatčení uniknout a z protektorátu se dostal do Anglie. Po odchodu do exilu byl zařazen k 311. československé bombardovací peruti RAF jako nadporučík. Zahynul tragicky pri cvičném orientačním letu 1. října 1940.
English: Jaroslav Skutil (* 24 May 1910 in Pardubice - 1 October 1940 in Elton near Peterborough, Northamptonshire, Britain) was a professional soldier, during the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia a member of the underground resistance organisation Defence of the Nation (officer for communications and liaison at the headquarters of the regional headquarters in Pardubice). During the Gestapo raid on members of the Defence of the Nation in February 1940, Staff Captain Jaroslav Skutil managed to escape arrest and escaped from the Protectorate to England. After going into exile, he was assigned to the 311th Czechoslovak Bomber Squadron of the RAF as a lieutenant. He was tragically killed in a training orientation flight on 1 October 1940.
