English: The Junkers HK series of engines. These were small opposed piston diesel engines, used as stationary engines and to power boats. They were unusual for their opposed piston layout, where each cylinder had two pistons and three crank throws on the crankshaft, with the upper piston being driven via two long return connecting rods and a yoke. The engines are usually described as the '2 HK 65' or similar, indicating a two-cylinder engine with 65mm diameter cylinders. They were built from one to at least four cylinders.
