Kırkkaşık Bedesteni, which was built in 1579 by İbrahim Bey, son of Piri Pasha from the Ramazanoğulları Principality, was used as a soup kitchen and a madrasah in the early periods, but after the Republic it functioned as a covered bazaar. Kırkkaşık (Forty spoons) Bedesten, also known as Beyaz Çarşı in the past, has a rectangular plan and takes its name from the spoon ornaments on the exterior of the building.
