Karimnagar (Telugu: కరీంనగర్, Tamil: آدகரீம்நகர், Urdu:کریم نگر ضلع) is a district in Telangana state of India. It is named after its district head quarters Karimnagar town. The district is situated to the north of the Warangal district. The largest town in the district is Karimnagar. The district is home to many historic and damaged Hindu and Jain temples.
