Leipzig Plantation from where a panoramic view of Devizes may be enjoyed is thought to be a Victorian planted wood, possibly to commemorate the Battle of Leipzig. It comprises mostly of beech trees and covers an area of approximately 4.5 hectares. The plantation has public access for woodland walks. Info source
