Lemon Valley is on the north coast of Saint Helena, west of Half Tree Hollow and Jamestown. It got it name from now died-out lemon trees planted by the Portuguese sailors. It was historically a popular watering area for passing ships, and later become a quarantine station for the colony. Today it is a recreational area for swimming and snorkelling, usually access by boat.
